In 2007, we mobilized the California legal community to provide vital legal services to low-income individuals and families, persons with disabilities, and seniors by: Engaging more than 200 law students in providing over 4,000 hours of assistance to nearly 2,500 clients; Connecting over 210,000 individuals to online legal assistance referrals and 1,400 self-help materials in 30 different languages; Educating more than 100 legal services nonprofits and over 1,700 advocates, staff and volunteers through 26 trainings, 7 publications, and 6 statewide strategic planning meetings. |
